UGH! Rain again

As the above photos show we have had a TON of rain here in MS over the last week. Me and the hounds are about over the rain. Is it too much to ask for just 2 days of sunshine to dry up this sloppy,wet, puddle ridden back yard of ours? It seems to be
Not only is it impossible to get out there and mow but the hounds don't enjoy playing in this slop and who can blame them. We won't even talk about the joys of trying to do Pooper Scooper duty, yuck.
The hounds are going bonkers and so am I. Augie and Brookie don't like the storms so they tend to spend the days hid out in the bathrooms or in a tight corner of the bedroom. Only to peak out for breakfast and dinner.
Going for walks hasn't been much of an option as well since it seems each time we get on out there the skies let loose and we are caught in a down pour.
My thoughts are, for the Spring months, that someone needs to open an inside play area for all the dogs going bonkers like my crew.
Here's to hoping that the skies stay clear for the rest of the week and we can get out there and burn off some pent up energy along with getting this grass finally cut!
